About the Role
As a Camp Desi Roots Counselor, you'll live alongside campers for the full overnight session — leading activities, running cultural workshops, and helping build the kind of community that makes camp feel like family. This is hands-on, high-responsibility work with real impact on the campers you lead.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a cabin group of campers throughout the session
- Support campers’ emotional wellbeing and physical safety at all times
- Plan and run daily activities, workshops, and evening programming
- Participate in staff training and pre-camp preparation

Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum age: Must be 18 or older by August 1, 2026, and eligible to work in the U.S.
Availability dates: August 1, 2026
Background check / clearances required
CPR / First Aid: TBC
Compensation: $500 stipend (before taxes)
